This was my first Enslaved album and its bawlin! It got me into their other stuff as well even though their earlier material is a way different style.

Great review; however, can't say that I agree with you. I really liked this album a lot. This is about the only straight up Black Metal band I can stand except for Immortal, who are absolutely brilliant. These guys were also fantastic when I saw them live with Opeth a month ago.
