I'm not as big on PK as I used to be, but hey, whatever floats your boat man ;).

Thanks . I know Painkiller doesn't have Halford's greatest vocal performance considering what he did in the 70s, but Priest sure did bring back some intensity that many craved.

That sure is saying something, but the peaks of both bands are amazing regardless. I just wish Priest would have been

able to have a consistent recovery from some of their 80s letdowns such as Turbo like Iron Maiden had in the 2000s after

releasing Virtual XI.

You have to take into consideration that 80's Priest was all about the

singles, which is why there's a rather curious up-down pattern after SC.

But at least they made good songs, something they don't seem to be

able to do these days.

AoR does have some redeemable tracks, but I'm not a fan of the

industrial sound they've kept since Jugulator; I feel it doesn't suit them.

honestly I think I'd take this and Stained Class over any Maiden album

Maiden rule, but they don't get me pumped as much as Priest

Undoubtably there were some excellent or better tracks off of their 80s albums, but they just were not occurring at the frequency of this or Stained Class. as much as I like concept albums, I sadly have to agree with you on their recent albums like Nostrodamus.

Someone should do a combined Priest/Maiden ranking, would be an interesting exercise.

Why hasn't this reached 100 pages already?!

Just saw that this hasn't reached 1,000 votes yet. Ridiculous.
