yeah, i would have been happier with almost any other Book-focused record, but this is still worth every penny.

Still making through the album, but the first half has been very good so far. Pretty much as expected from SC3, but more impressed with this than Xaphan (which was very good in its own right) or the 7" splits (which were very hit and miss)

Xaphan is definitely tight, but it is a Zorn composition (well performed, but still no points for originality). This is still pretty great... just set up my record player today and excited to hear it on wax.

This has a strong soundtrack feeling to it.
