Hmm, his voice doesn't really seem tampered with at all on IG, I just think he was kind of restraining himself at points. On Mothership he turns what would be those moments into him belting it out, and I think it works better. AS he definitely sound very "produced" but the songs are great and they service the songs well, so no complaints from me.
