I remembered the first name of the 19 year old I was following on tumblr in 2014 that 47 year old mark kozelek was mackin on. crazy intel. “lost verses” “carry me ohio” et al are perfect songs. Don’t blame anyone for their response, and usually (though maybe more often than I’d think) the bad-guy musician’s music doesn’t calcify into raps about his weird life.

I'm warming up to this a little bit on the second playthrough. The first left me thinking it was decent enough, maybe like a 3. Could definitely use a little trimming here and there, but for the most part I like the meandering journeys.
Take Me Out is an early stand out track. I don't like the seemingly never-ending 'na na nas' in the latter on both Katy Song & Funhouse - it distracts me from the development of the music beneath.
