would have loved to be a teenager/early 20s during the 80s. easily the best decade of metal in my eyes. I can only imagine what it would be like seeing bands such as Exodus, Metallica, Slayer, Death, Morbid Angel, etc. all rising up

86-92 were the peak year for metal. Not to say that no good metal came out before or after those years, quite the contrary, but that time span had the most consistently good releases.

I was twelve in ‘92. Grunge was everything I couldn’t stand metal it was such nonsense. Comic book stuff.
