the whole record completes and enriches the motW Discography, it's like something that was missing.

Lots of death there. Aside from the fact that prog is probably stronger now than it has been in thirty years, I doubt that The Mars Volta or Dream Theater have any aspirations to make Toby Driver-esque music, since neither of those bands has ever made music that sounds similar to motW or Kayo Dot.

lol, I'm sure TMV & DT would have already heard this and shitting themselves. This is incredible. It demands you to want to go back to it. I am a Kayo fan, but when i hear this i still feel it as maudlin. Just enjoy peeps. Its Toby, he rules, this is outstanding, tough for anything to beat this in 2009 IMO.
