^Lol, you're not wrong! I jump the gun sometimes. Most albums take a week or so for me to properly digest, it's usually albums that play it safe (like this one) or lengthy ones which never click with me initially. Had the same problem with Reflektor from Arcade Fire, couldn't stand it for weeks then suddenly it clicked.

Some stuff takes years/decades to finally ‘get’

I wasn’t having London Calling from about 1994-2015 and then it absolutely blew me socks off after a random listen.

Some stuff just floats around and you listen to bits and pieces here and there and largely forget about it and then upon a re-listen it sound’s ridiculously fresh.

I love it when it happens.

That would make a good thread to be fair! I can think of a few albums which didn't click for a good few years. Had it recently with Sam's Town by The Killers, always found it inferior to Hot Fuss, but the one night I popped it on whilst washing up and it hit me like a ton of bricks. Same goes for the original Foo Fighters album, I just didn't get the hype at all. But years later I heard Floaty and it blew my mind. Strange phenomena but definitely cool.
