One more thing - I really like your review for Houses of the Holy! = ) Something that we can agree is really good!!!Everyone says, "Led Zep IV's the best because it has Stairway", but Houses gave them a prog-rock sound and it is definitely underrated. My favorite Zep album, followed by Zep I.

yeah, HOTH definitely made them more than just a riffs and solos type band, which is why it's my favourite Zep album

Well, what more can you say about 'The Final Cut' other than it's good music to commit suicide to. Plus, listen here fendercustomsrat. If your going to be apart of this site you gotta let people have opinions. That's what a forum is!!!. By the way, in no waaaayyyy shape of form did this compete against 'Animals' or 'The Wall'.

I'll definitely listen to this eventually, but all the pink floyd fans seem to suggest other albums first. Dark Side of the moon is the only of their four 'major' albums that I've heard as much as it deserves. Afterwards I'll give some of their other stuff a listen...

Fender... Heh, didn't mean to be petty. I just didn't like the way you phrased it... It sounded like you didn't accept that he just had another opinion than yours. If I can get my hands on this album, I'll give it a listen. Eventually I'll have to own (or at the very least listen through) all of Pink Floyd's stuff anyway...

beyondtheblueprint,

I never said that it was as good as "The Wall" or "Animals", I said that it sounded very much like "The Wall" and it had the atmosphere of the 2 albums. I'd never say something that stupid!!! = )

It's good, but not up to previous Floyd standards. The lyrics were excellent, but there was too little Floyd, and too much of Roger Waters.
