This album's lyrics are incredible, I love the surreal and dreamy imagery and themes this album has. In some ways it's my favorite Isis, would be very curious to see where they would've gone from here.

Nah I love absence more but still an amazing album. The production here feels polished but organic while absences production is beautiful

Agreed with Mongi. I like the production for both albums actually. 20 Minutes/40 Years might be my favorite from here, although there are several top notch tracks on this album.

Idk I think it's awesome. He a certain organic, lush atmosphere to it. Really suits the sound they were going for. I love how all of their records have a different sound too.

That's pretty agreeable yeah. I like this just slightly more, but Absence is probably my least listened-to Isis in all fairness. Gotta give it another spin soon.

Funny how Aaron Turner said House of Leaves inspired Absence, but when I read it, I'm reminded more of this album.

Absence and this has tuned into my most listened to isis. Which is weird cause this is my fourth fav isis. The only song that doesn't do it for me all the way through is Ghost Key. Just kinda runs out of shit to do towards the end.

The repetition in Isis' music doesn't bother me at all because the way they keep adding on more nuanced in a unique way is astounding to me
