"If there is one thing that I can say Mastodon has improved on with this album, it is the vocals. They are no longer the harsh growls and screams found on previous records, with aggressiveness and power surrendering to great vocal harmonies. "

Yeah, maybe with massive auto-tuning and mixing done to them, but otherwise no. Did anyone watch them on Carson Daily? They sucked massive dick, the only person that did well was the drummer. The other two guys blew.

"Fallen fruh-um gr-race cus I ben uh-waay to-oo law-ong" Not good! They should write vocals parts that they can actually play live.

They're decent musicians, though. Blood mountain was much better.

I couldn't remember which show they were on, and google lied to me when I searched for it!

Album still sucks relative to past mastodon style in that the growlies and angry guitars are not there. At all. Like eeveeer.

Yeah man why could they not have just stuck with the same old sound instead of trying out new things?

People have too complain about the change because had they not tried something new, people would be complaining that they are sticking too the same formula time after time again

One correction, Brent Hinds is the lead guitarist not Bill Kelliher.
