Ya I can usually look past the vocals enough to be somewhat unbiased but they could be the most amazing musicians in the world but it wouldnt matter.

The album isn't THAT bad! It's no where close to what their sophomore-album would of been like, had Jordan B. stayed with the band; but it's not terrible. Some of the songs do have a strong poppy-sound to them and the vocals are extremely diverse. But Jag's "vocal sound" is not much different from Coheed's front man Claudio Sanchez. [IMO] And yes people, I would choose: Claudio S. > Jag.

im a fan of jag's vocals, and the bands sound, but the lyrics were ridiculous, and the drums felt really stutter-y

For listening from beginning to end this is the album to listen to, it flows much better than Adelphia.

I liked this more than I thought I would but it's still average.

For a girls voice the vocals would be good for a pop/punk band but the fact that its a male lead vocalist just sickens me, but I'm more into hardcore shit anyway like parkway drive... that said great review it was thorough and worth reading... I think a 3 would be a fair rating

My favorite album honestly. It's rare finding a band willing to make a concept album (which I love) The lyrics, art, sound, and feel are very well entwined to make a creative and great piece of art in my opinion. His voice is like an angel to me (although I can see why others find it annoying). Still, this has got to be my favorite, I really hope that ASDs new release goes with another final fantasy-ish theme with their improved instrumentals and vocal works. p.s the lyrics are what I loved the most. It wasnt the typical structure and broing lines most bands use.

I used to love this album. Looking back, I don't really know why. It's catchy, sure, and I might be the one of the few who can still stand Jag's voice. But in terms of musicality, this is ridiculous. And not in a good way. I do still like a few songs, though.

Still get this stuck in my head from time to time, "My Disease" especially.

Fun and catchy album, if you can get past the lack of testicles the singer has.

I thought the vocals were actually kinda nice, until I discovered it was a guy. I imagined a pretty hot girl singing this at first...
