This was a really good review for a really solid album but what I loved most about this review was this question:
Don’t get me wrong, the album was really good but where do you go from there besides up your own ***? Yeah, apparently the band liked that part too

Great review for a great band. I'm digging Medwton right now.

This is going to be near the top of my best of 2009 list. Anyone that hasn't heard this yet needs to.

Redshift is awesome

heard A Moment In Prime and it kicked ass... didn't like most of the other tracks though...

Yeah, I thought the first two tracks were pretty good, and then 3 - 8 are all awesome.

I did and I got to thank you Willie.

Did these guys pull a Cynic or what
|
| |
why do you say that, TRM?

You can't really compare these guys to Cynic. I mean, yeah, they both broke up in the nineties after releasing some critically acclaimed album(s), and now they're both back... but I can't think of another way. This band didn't mellow out at all and are probably more technical than before.

yeah, that's what i was thinking Trey; how Cynic made a groundbreaking album only to come back years later with something just as good.

I'm looking forward to Believer's next album. I have a feeling they're not going to play things safe.

I've been listening to this album for a couple weeks now. Good, good stuff.
I really like the guitar tone. The vocal style/tone annoyed me a little on the first listen, but now it's grown on me.
This is the first Believer I've heard. I'll give their other albums a shot, even with the "besides up your own ***?" part in mind (regrettably, maybe).
