Haha yeah there’s a decent variety here but it mostly evens out to fairly standard (though excellent) alt-country/Americana. Curious to hear your thoughts on the whole thing - as an alt-country fan this is essential stuff for me but even though you dig the two following albums I could see you going any way on this.

It's good, but like most double albums, it's too long and too padded with meh tracks

Not sure how this band can go from a beautiful heart-breaking folk tune into sounding like REO Speedwagon, but the Red-Eyed And Blue and I Got You (At the End of the Century) are right next to each other on the album, so I suppose anything is possible

My personal favorite. And I always liked it better than "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot".

Seeing these guys in Minneapolis on Friday. If they don't play Misunderstood I'll fight Tweedy in the street.

They played "Misunderstood" when I saw them in Boston last month so there's definitely hope

Dylan it looks like every other set they are alternating that one and I Am Trying to Break Your Heart.
Also, why don't they ever play Monday? That's a top 5 Wilco song.

Like so many double albums, this would be a hard 5 if it were one disc.

I wish it was a triple tbh

I usually agree with that Hans but this is the rare exception, probably my favorite double album of all time. This or Southern Rock Opera.
