Both this and "Tired Sounds" were played repeatedly in my car when I drove daily between Doha and Ras Laffan in Qatar, over the desert. They eventually just formed this surreal mix of experience that is impossible to describe. Whenever I hear either album I become deeply emotional and remember that point. Some of my friends love this music and others hate it. I just adore it and cannot think of anything I would rate higher than these two albums.

i actually don't like stars of the lid as sleeping music because i fall asleep like two tracks in and don't get a chance to enjoy the album
