I get the After the Burial comparison(who i love), but not really the Veil of Maya or Born of Osiris comparison.

Riff wise its definitely After The Burial but in terms of how the band plays breakdowns it reminds me particularly of Veil Of Maya and also the incredible number of breakdowns they play in most their songs..
Its kinda annoying but i think this is ok.

I haven't heard the whole album, but they seem like a fairly solid band judging from their myspace songs. Sounds like a more technical August Burns Red, but with less breakdowns, thankfully. Good review too.

i dont think this sounds much like abr, its far more progressive. Less contemporary metalcore.

i can definitely see where you'd get the born of osiris comparison from

This sounds nothing like Born of Osiris, or August Burns red.

well sorri

it's weird how each guitar is pretty much fully panned to the right or left and then they harmonize every single line. kinda has a strange effect on the ears

The summary made me geek out!
|
| |
hahha, are their guitar players named Guitarist?

I personally think they sound like Veil of Maya and Born of Osiris(The New Reign) not vocalwise though. I also think that most of the guitar parts aren't that memorable. I think if they turned up the vocalist a little bit (not too much), try to throw in some melodies, make it so the double-bass isn't so clicky sounding, and take out all the stop and starts they could be a really good band. Those are really just minor things that I think they will see and fix before their next album. But I do not think this band sounds like Meshuggah at all.

This album is comparable to Born of Osiris' The New Reign because of all the stop and starts, the clicking double-bass, the over-production, and the ever-presence of breakdowns. But Born of Osiris has turned a lot more progressive and melodic so hopefully this band takes a similar direction but doesn't sound exactly like them

This album is catchy which I find rare in tech metal. Suprisingly a victory records band

I've estimated them and I has given 5 (Classic). Really nice band, very talented. I hope they'll be appreciated more in nearest future. Good luck, guys! Hope to see you somewhere live.

Where is the shredding at? All I hear is normal ol' guitar harmonies. Bullet For My Valentine can do those too!

I have to admit that trolling is a very very bad thing. The comments like "Bullet For My Valentine can do those too!" makes me laugh hard.
Here are the videos of HOW THIS SONG ARE ACTUALLY PLAYED by their guitarist:

After that, just don't even try to compare it to Bullet for My Valentine or Slipknot, pal.
"drums are merely average"
wow, this is a very disturbing notion... I actually don't want to post any comments about that, thanks
