Don't know what all the hate is about here. I like the whole pop-punk/post-hardcore fusion going on. Theres some great songs and moments on the album. Catchy riffs and melodies too. Not incredible, but I'm a fan.

are you fucking kidding me? the start of the albums meant to be a joke, all of its members dont take anything seriously. a day to remember are a master of mixing fucking catchy choruses and monster breakdowns into a song. the production is sick aswell, so professional. poppier than for those who have heart but still amazing

This definitely isn't a 1.5, but it isn't amazing album. It's a fun album, just like FTWHH, but not quite as good.

I disagree with this review entirely.
First off...
"It’s like these guys listened to New Found Glory for years and decided that NFG had finally sold out, and that they HAD to revive that old sound."
I've been listening to NFG since I was like 11 or 12, I'm now 22 and therefore considering just how long I've listened to them I can say without a doubt that they sound nothing like ADTR. Furthermore, NFG now are a lot heavier than the NFG of my childhood, so your point about "ADTR wanting to revive that old sound" that hadn't even been a NFG staple until just recently is completely null and void. It'd be one thing if NFG were writing songs like 'Dig My Own Grave' 10 years ago but that simply wasn't the case.
Next up...
"...while diehard fans of the band and genre enthusiasts (does pop-punk-metalcore have those?)"
"They are built to be loved by a fairly small demographic of kids, and hated by pretty much everyone else."
I really hate to put things in this sort of simplistic and pretentious manor, but if what you said was actually true then this band wouldn't be popular. However, ADTR are clearly very popular, they have a very large fan base, they are able to tour nationally and headline tours, and not to mention... I can purchase their CDs at fucking Target. ...yeah, small fan demographic my white ass!
Look, it's fine if you're going to hate on a band. I could care less what your musical tastes are, but at the very least have decent reasons for hating bands and if it's just personal preference make sure you make it clear.
I know this should be a 'sound off' but I actually want people to see this response.
