I feel like I am the only one that really enjoyed this for what it was to be enjoyed for. Funness.

I Personally think that a day to remember is a very good band and they have an amazing sound jeremy is an amazing vocalist and screamer/growler soft melodolic yet hard and grungy neil and tom have great rifts and there break downs are phonominal joshs bassing in indeed a true talent and alex for his age he is amazing and there carrer has honestly just started with this album. For those who have hearts was good but this is the new sound of post hardcore/pop punk more opened minds about music is needed

I love this CD but neil and tom are sub-par guitarists, they have a lot of work to do in order to impress me

ADTR make very fun albums. When i wanna listen to something heavy i can, or when i wanna listen to light singalong songs i can too.

Everything aside, it isn't THAT great, but it isn't THAT bad either.

I do have to add, though...

"...(mhm, this is one of those albums)..."

...made me laugh out loud right in the middle of the office at work today. Luckily no one was around to question the outburst.

this album is catchy as hell. although pretty much every song has the same structure and most of the songs are very predictable, it seems that adtr knows how to make some good music. catchy, yet heavy at the same time. they are what many up and coming bands are trying to be.

"A Day to Remember’s strange combination of pop-punk hooks and metalcore riffs and breakdowns was sort of a novel idea, even if it was a little…gay"

wow what a way with words i mean come on "gay" really?? didn't we stop calling things gay in like 9th grade

"Crank up what annoys 90% of people about punk music these days, and that’s what Homesick is."

really 90% of people who listen to homesick have the same opinion about this band as you, thats a pretty arrogant statement

"They are built to be loved by a fairly small demographic of kids, and hated by pretty much everyone else"

first off they aren't built for scene kids anymore than sigur ros is built for hipsters

fuck off, a day to remember make a style of music you don't like so of course wat u do is say they suck and say that anyone that likes this band isn't "cool" which u didn't actually say but who the hell are you kidding thats what you meant.

"laughable moments" thats funny because me and my friends laugh at the fucking nerd, lord of the ring, fantasy bullshit that Mastodon and other heralded prog rock geniuses call their lyrics, but wats also funny is that we laugh but we also appreciate that alot of people like them so they are doing something right they have an audience and they aren't for everybody

this review was the first and last review i read by you because its people like you that give the term elitist a meaning

this is also the first review i have read on sputnik at all for being a staff reviewer you sure as hell have given me a bad impression of people on sputnik i hope you are an anomaly and that not every one is as close minded as you are

as much as I don't care for this album as a whole - I think "My Life For Hire" is a pretty great song.

"Then listen to real music like Suicide Silence and Whitechapel, you shouldn't expect a band like this to have 2 steps or decent breakdowns"

Taken from a comment on The Downfall Of Us All vidoe on youtube.
