While that's true, they DO do it deliberately. He very well could be a horrible singer as well, but the whole blatant use of auto-tune is used to re-enforce the whole "electro-core" element. Which is just a lame excuse really. They should really tone it down to just a cool effect to use here and there on their next album. And get the singer some lessons.

their clean singer is actually pretty decent, if you can rustle up the demo, he actually uses some cleans that dont have autotunes ( i think). I cant deny that this is generic or derivative, but i still somehow love it anyways. Its probably because when i first saw them live, they really did kick a lot of ass. They started this whole rave thing (using "Interlude") and everyone got so into it, it was great.
