Oh im sure they'll be totally unbiased, particularly the Mammal and Butterfly Effect sections. Oh and im completly envious about you having pay TV, so unfair, nevertheless look for a guy in a mammal t shirt and that will be me (or another of the many mammalians).

Nice review Davey, I ended up reading this on my phone of all things! My how modern technology has evolved. "Cult of Personality" is probably one of my all tme favorite songs, but I must admit to not having heard this album in full. Seeing how highly you rate this I'll probably end up listening to it sooner rather than later now.

Let me know what you think of the entire album when you do hear it. Of course, don't expect everything else to be up to the standard of 'Cult'.

I'm gonna check this album out! I was playing the title track on guitar hero 3 earlier today and all it did was remind me how much I have to learn the song on REAL guitar, I have a gibson flying V after all.

Title track? There is no title track. Haha. I know you mean 'Cult Of Personality' though. However, I think your ambition outweighs your talent Croc. And you could be a very good guitar player for all I know... But the guitar in that track is like out of this world. I'll presume you just mean the main riff or something like that.

Lol Your on! I'm totally learning it tommorow. Coincidently I have to get my V fixed/looked at tommorow so once that happens i'm gonna jam that song out.

Can't promise solos :P I'm terrible at learning them note for note.

As for this, I heard it just now, definately front loaded and nothing comes close to cult of personality. Still a pretty good album however, but not deserving of a 5 IMO.

Good to hear you're a rich man Ross! Fair call on the album I guess. I've always said that it is dangerous to open an album with the highlight track & I guess it's difficult for everything else to compare to 'Cult' afterwards.

yeah songs pretty cool but i doubt i'll check out the whole album - hard rock isn't really my thing

Lol!!! I'm hardly rich Davey, luckily for me it's a dirt cheap contract and mydad pays for it as long as I phone home at least twice a week, bit of a bargain really.

I can see me getting into this album more in the future, a 3.5 for a first listen isn't bad, could easily go up to a 4.
