Yeah, used to be. I remember two months or so ago when all my reviews barring two or three all got neg voted for no reason. Made me so angry. I miss my big red letters.

It is featured, afterall. I figured I'd spiff it up a bit.

I did have a decent one star review of this album and the mods kept tearing it down.

That is a narrow minded thing to say. Sure, maybe what the album cover is trying to show you, or what is symbolizes is sick: we are all just trying to get money. But in terms of the picture, there is nothing sick about it. I hate people who think that the human anatomy is disgusting. He's a baby anyway, for Christ's sake. If you want to see a truly sick album cover, take a look at one of those ridiculous Cannibal Corpse covers.

Nirvana is quite boring and repetitive. I despise them.

Grungy punk... but it was done very well on this album. In Utero is much more of a rock album, though.

I can't believe that Pitchfork has this as the 6th greatest album of the '90s.

It's unbelievably terrible in every way.

What's even worse is the blurb that goes with it. Makes me wanna stab the guy that wrote it, AND all of Pitchfork Media for letting it be published.

"[...]

Sure, there will always be those who insist that Nevermind was more of cultural import than musical, but they will also be full of shit: Nirvana are, a decade later, still regarded as the greatest and most legendary band of the 1990s. This band proved to a whole new generation that technical prowess has no bearing on quality, inspired their fans to seek out the music that slipped beneath the commercial radar, and then had the balls to be ridiculously, unthinkably fucking brilliant. Anyone who hates this record today is just trying to be cool, and needs to be trying harder."

The only tracks ive heard are Smells Like Teen Spirit, In Bloom, Come As You Are, Lithium and Drain You and i must say that all of them are brilliant. I love the beggining to In Bloom. Pretty good review.

This CD is probably Nirvana's most famous, but certainly is not a patch on their other albums. I personally find that "Bleach" was amazing and "In Utero" had better guitars/lyrics than this album. BUt who cares...everyone so-called Nirvana fan seems to want to make love to this album, even though Nirvana produced material which was a lot better. That said, the singles released from this album are very good and Something In The Way is amazing.

Something in the Way was used in the film Jarhead. I was a little surprised while hearing it in the theater.

Why does everyone hate this so much?

And listen all you people who rag on people who like this CD, give it a rest. How many times have I heard "Every 'True Nirvana Fan' loves this!" Well if you're such a great fan, how come you dont like this? It's the biggest album by a band u claim to love more than anyone else. A true fan doesnt hate their artists work.

Sure, it's their biggest, but it isn't their best. It's often loved more than life by people claiming to be true Nirvana fans, who in reality know nothing but Nevermind. Then there are those who love this, but can't stand In Utero because it's not catchy enough or other some such.

I disliked In Utero, and I dont own this actually. I have Unplugged, G Hits and In Utero. YEt I like to call myself a Nirvana fan. But I guess I dont "make the cut" with you diehards out there.

You don't have to LOVE EVERYTHING by a band to be a "true" fan. If you think otherwise, then I think you're an idiot, whoever you may be.

Artist's albums I should say. Albums, not work. But please the "real" Nirvana fans despise this album and all who like it.
