i don't see this as a 5, the drumming is repetative, the production is really bad and hurts the atmosphere. The guitars are very good but you can hardly hear them at all. I like the vocals but its way to high in comparison to the music behind it
We don't like black metal now, do we?
I was hooked the moment I heard this.

Same. Whenever I listen to this I get a huge stiffy.

Well, I don't think black metal puts me in that type of mood, but whatever floats your boat hahaha.

Just returned from a 27 hour trip to Michigan and back. Listened to this the entire way there and back in the car.
I can't really describe this. I don't know if I even want to. But this is a classic... to me atleast. This Message Edited On 12.20.08

What a waste of time. If I wanted to listen to the same looped track of wind blowing for an hour, I'd just open my window and hit myself in the head.
|
| |
That wind would have better sound quality too.
But meh I still like this a lot.
|
| |
I had very high expectations from all the hype this was getting, but I was very disappointed. And I like black metal.
|
| |
I will agree that this definitely isn't a classic, but it's not horrible. Maybe a 3.5 at best.
The selftitled is better, and some of his albums are pure ambient. This might actually be my least favorite Paysage album. This Message Edited On 01.07.09

Crysis, are you listening to a rip of the tape or the CD rerelease?
|
| |
Rasputin, I TOLD YOU there was a ton of wind blowing.
I specifically stated such a thing.

I've always been meaning to check this out I just never did. I listened to the first song and it was fucking great. This will be at the top of the list of stuff I download when I get my new computer which will be very, very soon hopefully.

The songs are all out of order on the download that I have so I'm just listening to them in the order they gave me. Two tracks in right now and this is pretty great. 15 minutes of wind blowing was actually not as boring as I expected. This is looking to be a 4 or a 4.5 if it keeps up like this.

You can change the track list in iTunes fairly easily. Listened to this again a few days ago and it's still amazing.

Not in mine. For some reason iTunes doesn't let me do it.
