what u talking about distance? Slipknot is great. But on that subject, comparing Slipknot to LP is retarded. They may be the same genre but they aren't very similar.
Other than that, pretty good review.

Thanks, but it wasn't a comparison. Maybe just how their live shows differ.
|
| |
All I'm saying is that it doesn't really make sense... whatever, it's no big deal.
|

Alright, it wasn't to offend anybody, tho. I don't want the comments here to turn out like my Kanye West review. :D
|
| |
hey, at least you review popular albums that GET comments
|
| |
Yeah it sucks to be ignored. Seems like my popular reviews are shit and my decent reviews never get noticed.
|
| |
I was thinking about doing some underground reviews later, but not sure how the comments will come. Hell, one comment will make me happy, as long as I got my word out about it.

I was at this concert. Jay-Z was by far the best thing about it, he did an amazing set. Linkin Park were alright, but Chester was a bit weak (not distorted so much, but he sang the whole first verse and chorus of Shadow Of The Day in the wrong key!). From the Inside was really good live.
So many supporting acts made up for the fact that LP themselves were really really average. The drum solo at the end was pretty good, but Jay-Z stole the show. Good review.

Mike Shinoda doesn't do much this time, and much of the show ends being focused around Bennington.
Oh man, that sounds pretty bad. Mainly since Bennington sounds pretty weak live and Shinoda would be the better part of their show (if Jay-Z wasn't there).
I remember loving almost everything this band put out a long time ago, but even then I realized Bennington's scream sounds like an angry rodent live.

Do they do the drum solo in Bleed it Out everytime? Out of the three bootlegs I have of this tour, it happens each time, so I'ma assume it's a yes.
He's a bloody good drummer, too.

Is this worth getting if you have Live in Texas?
EDIT: I was drunk when I read this review and commented on it...I'm amazed I spelled the words rightThis Message Edited On 01.21.09

If you already have "Live in Texas", I don't see any point in getting "Road To Revolution"
CONOR U DIDN'T ACTUALLY READ THE REVIEW DID YOU?
|

I did but I was not altogether there if you know what I mean.My apologies.I probably won't be getting this then, because I have LiT and I don't really like MtM.This Message Edited On 11.26.08

Normally LP are pretty shit live, but they're not so bad here...and Pushing Me Away proves undeniably that Chester can sing. But that being said, its not really an album worth buying.
|

"Something I would expect from U2, but certainly not from the likes of Linkin Park."
Screw You faggot, they are human beings not Machine. Whatever Chester voice is it is better then any other singer.

lmao

Review's pretty good, actually; and totally undeserving of its "0 for 2" score. It's "1 to 3" now.

That rendition of Pushing Me Away just hurts now
|

Yup. Same with the recent version of Crawling. It aches.
