almost as good as the second one!

For whatever reason this and Purgatory Afterglow rule so much but I never really got all that into Crimson II. Not that it's bad or anything but man Dan Swano really killed it with this one. One of those prog albums I still listen to every once in a while cause it is just that good. Only thing that really comes close to this for me would be Persefone's Core (or however you spell that) and maybe some Novembre albums. This is truly some of the best prog death there is. Such memorable melodies.

Yeh, Ive listened to Moontower 😅 it was before the days of streaming services tho...so I never really downloaded it for whatever reason. I listened to a few tracks on youtube years ago and remember really liking them.

Also has anyone noticed that An Abstract Illusion pulled one of the main melodies from Crimson in the Woe album? Also a great band
