Thanks Kane. Yeah, if MCR aren't your thing, then there is really no need for you to be curious about this. It won't win you over and could actually do the opposite.

DavID, you have heard correctly that MCR are not super (read: arse) live. As I mentioned somewhere, their concerts are more a fun sing-along than anything else. Since you liked 'The Black Parade' album, this won't offend you, but it won't wow you either.

I can understand if some people believe my rating to be a tad high in all honesty.

Chan, I listened to the cd before I watched the DVD & at that stage I was pretty underwhelmed. If you are not at all interested about the overblown & exageratted gimmick of a stageshow, then I can't see your listening to the cd making you get the DVD. Let me know what you think when you give it a listen though as I know you liked the studio album almost as much as I did.

I inadvertently saw MCR live - they were quite ordinary.

ConoeMichaelJoseph, I find it interesting that you like this over the studio album. I can only presume you mean watching the DVD as I really don’t see how the live concert on CD is better than the studio version.

As for MCR being bottled, I think that was from rather poor decisions (from either them or concert organizers) as to who they supported at certain early concerts.

They headlined Download 2008. Bad idea.

Wow Kane... I just looked up some of the past Download Festivals and there are some great line-ups there. That's the kind of thing we need down under. Have you ever done a full weekend at that festival...??? By the way, it says MCR headlined in '07 (not '08).

While I wouldn't call the DVD boring, I can see where you ar coming from SuckMyHairyWhite. There is definitely nothing too sensational about either gig. As i said in the review, it's one for the fans only really.

You're right man, it was 2007. And yeah they've had some good line ups, although this years was a bit meh. But no, I've never been unfortunately. I prefer Reading Festival, it's always a great laugh and the music aint bad either.
