I saw the band back in 2012 for Summer Slaughter. They were really proficient and precise on stage, but the sound quality was fucking awful. The rhythm guitarist (I believe it was either Wes Hauch or Steve Jones) overpowered everybody with a really piercing and sharp guitar tone that sounded horrible next to Keene's leads. And speaking of which, I could barely hear Keene's solos in the mix, which was disappointing. Regardless, that Summer Slaughter was fun... Cannibal Corpse and Between the Buried and Me absolutely killed it as the headliners

the problem with autotheism is it had no aesthetic direction or sense of what it wanted to be. it lacked any kind of atmospheric nature to make the bad songwriting more tolerable.
