The screams in the title track intro were also used in the title track of Slipknot's Iowa

I mean this def isn’t on the same level as Effigy or Pierced, a 2 for this isn’t a big deal. Maybe they don’t like it

is this album any good? i used to have every suffo record rated but i felt like since i had no memory of any music i should delete all my ratings except for the classic stuff

This always has been a favorite of mine, it's slightly different from their previous recods since it has more melody into it while keeping the good heavyness, that's why i like it so much cuz songs are more distinguishable between each other, more often than not it's underappreciated

Souls to Deny, Surgery of Impalement, and Demise of the Clone is such a good three piece on this. Hadn't jammed this one in years because I recall it being kind of flat compared to the earlier stuff but I dig it quite a bit now. Production seems pretty bass heavy too which really works for Suffocation imo
