Does every Swedish have a member named Anders? Just sayin...

Most likely. Same for Bjorn and it pretty much seems that every Swedish last name has double lettering somewhere through it.

Just get it anyway. It's good, albeit a little different. There's a lot more of an Opethy feel to it.

Nothing could explain a sub 3.5 rating for this album. But I respect his opinion, as I do of (most) other people.

This album is really good, though not up to the quality of UTP but still. Hades Rising, Iesous, Treasnous, Behest, Devouring the Feeble, Mock the Cross come on, really, a fucking 3.... there's no way.

For good measure the album title "The Fathomless Mastery" is in no way talking about the band. If you read any of the lyrics and even glanced at the artwork you could figure that out. It's obviously referring to some sort of disease/apocalyptic event resulting in hell on earth. This Message Edited On 10.09.08This Message Edited On 10.09.08

I agree with a lot on here. Good job :thumb:

At The Behest Of Their Death is amazing though

And when Mikael screams "I Am Above The Sun" in Process of Disillumination, he sounds so incredibly badass

This is my first album from Bloodbath, it seems way better than a 3 to me. A strong 4, imo, each song fucking rules, though i will admit it is repetitive. Which of their albums should I look into next?

This deserves a 3.5 atleast, if you're in the mood to be overly critical. A 4 is most fitting in my opinion.

I laughed at this in the middle of work... thanks ;)
Good review. It was a little tough to follow in places, but that might just be me. I agree with what you wrote about this band though.
