They remind be a lot of "The Ocean," and not just because of the lyrical themes.

I tried, but I don't like it at all, in my mind it's a boring, chaotic, non-flowing-put-together piece of music.

I've heard a lot of metal like this but the concept is rarely ever touched and they don't conform to the point where the melodies are bad, it doesn't remind me too closely of anything in particular.
