It's all because of Mappy's argument with Burt in the Void. (Probably not, but it's fun to blame it on that)

This album is one of my favorites of 2008 without a single doubt. Since the first time I heard their previous album "Void" I knew I loved Intronaut, I would also recommend it to anyone who liked this album.

Kick ass review, I loved the way you described their soundThis Message Edited On 10.13.08

Yes, this is a lot better than Void, they definitely took a great step forward in songwriting and made this a more intense experience. But Void is really good in my opinion, the problem with it is that it is a bit repetitive

This actually surprised me with just how good it is. Although not as good as 'Colors' by BtBaM this is still an absolutely phenomenal album from a relatively young band.

It actually has no relevance at all. I've been listening to 'Colors' and this a lot recently and keep seeming to associate them together despite the relatively huge difference in sound. meh, idk.

People often bring up Colors just because they can.

I bought this because of all the praise it got here. And so far i am very far from impressed, five minutes of straight bongos isnt very exciting for a 16 minute song. I will listen to it in hopes that it will eventually grab me...but im doubting it.

Yeah, I'm really not sure what people are raving about. It's solid all around but it's also pretty boring all around. None of the instrumentation or song structuring seems particularly adept to me. Maybe there's something about the "post-metal"ness of it that I don't get. Hell, besides ambiances and such, I don't really know what's involved in post-metal. Though I doubt if I did that it would much change how I feel about this.

/rant.
