^Thats actually a good point, all those albums that get so badly negged here are the ones that actually get people into music in the first place. If it wasn't for them, the bands that get really high ratings here would have far fewer listeners.

Regardless of the last few posts, it is still terrible, bland music. I don't care who they got listening to better music, they still suck.

To all the bad reviews and the person who goes by "CURSEWORSHIP" who were your favorite bands growing up, you put down Ra then I go to your page to see your top bands and I see bands like Aesop Rock (The worst attempt at rap ever!...Aesop Rock please horrible), Tech N9ne (A Few okay tunes for rap but overall his songs flow the same), Goo Goo Dolls (Wasn't this band punk before one of their tunes went mainstream and now all ther songs sound the same....Beyond horrible!!!!), Anberlin (Honestly you put down Ra and like these guys??????), Flogging Molly (Irish crap!)

^Whoa there buddy, most of those bands beat Ra into the ground. I never said Ra were worth anything, I just said give em so kudo's for getting people into music. They're still shit.

The bands you just mentioned (minus Goo Goo Dolls, who DO now produce repetative crap) are pretty damn good, particularly Anberlin and Flogging Molly.

Hey thelawler, it turns out that music is completely subjective, and in my (and many other people's) opinion, Ra sucks. I guess since you put down music I happen to like, I would be obligated to attack back, but people's musical tastes are different, and I will not give a boring, repetitive band (in my opinion, of course) slack because it got other people, not myself into better music.

And for the record, I was raised on a healthy dose of Van Halen and Aerosmith, then moved to heavier older bands, such as Judas Priest, Metallica, and Slayer, eventually moved more and more modern, went to Pantera, Alice In Chains, and eventually moved more modern. I always loved the Goo Goo Dolls though, and I acquired a taste for some underground rap, so sue me. Not bad for an 18 year old.

I will not attack you (even though that was a paragraph that was slathered with ignorant douche baggery), so I will let shit slide.

When I was younger, I was absolutely obsessed with Aerosmith, they could do no wrong. I grew away from them but they will always be very high on my list.

"Curseworship" I listened to almost the same stuff as you growing up, And I like alot of underground rap also, I actually have seen Atmosphere live tons of times he lives where I am, and he's very good live, I'm extremely critical when it comes to music because of all the commercialized crap that gets on the radio when true musicians never get the shot!...I'm sticking up for Ra because they actually have talent although as I've stated they do write very radio friendly verse/chorus/verse type of music but at least they show good musicianship within that context.....And "Bastard" sorry but Aesop Rock is aweful!!!

Aesop Rock is the best underground artist out there, imo. No one touches him when it comes to his lyrics and rhymes.

"Cutters of the pie, throw your summers in the sky
Collar-pop Jolly Roger die, motherfucker, die!"

I love that for some reason.

Aesop is some pretty awesome stuff.

I still like a couple of songs off of From One, but everything else I've heard from these guys just does not do it for me.

I sympathized with you for sticking up for a band you like until you got to the Anberlin bashing. Now my response to you is >:[

I might listen to a track or two off this to see if it really deserves a 1. I'm not expecting much from this album.

to be honest i never trust when kage gives stuff negative ratings as he hates most all of my favorite music.

Well, to be fair to Kage you are digging Bring me the Horizon.
