I definately feel their older stuff is incredible (king of the rodeo, four kicks, knocked up), but this new cd appeals to the general public more. All of a sudden kings is playing on the radio here in south africa, "sex on fire" is playing in the clubs - all n all im happy about it. BUT yes, i cant stand coming across those people who all of a sudden hav gotten on the KOL train - even though i've been going on for years how awesome they are! At least there's now a better chance that i'll be able to see them live now in SA

That bonus track song - "beneath the surface" is definately worth a listen though...

just joined the faceboko group "I Liked Kings of Leon before Sex On Fire". Seriously, if i hear that song again I will shoot the radio. It really jerks me how suddenly they have been 'discovered'

Q magazine calls it album of the year. I normally trust them for reviews but they got this wrong big time.

First track, Closer, is very, very good. Rest of the album is very, very bland and some tracks just plain boring.

And seriously, every time I go to an indie club everyone goes mental when Sex On Fire comes on, and now having heard it for the first time when sober I have to ask, why? It's honestly not that great.

Just gave Aha Shake Heartbreak a listen and given it a 3.5 rating, like it a lot better than this.

This album really grew on me. The first 4 songs are amazing then they go down a little but after giving them more listens i am really starting to enjoy every song more.

Great voice as well

This album is such a drag, I can't believe they've gone from one of the most promising and genuine rock bands to this over-produced, reverb soaked nonsense. I literally can't listen to this album without having a little cry.
