true dat,^ but i read them all the time when I was 8. But I'll defend to the death that the eagle eyes on his face on the cover is off the front cover of an Animorphs book, here's proof:

the eyes that are near the top of the right-hand side are the exact same ones as on this album cover.

Never been a huge fan but this album is pretty good so far!
Its pretty epic. I'm in love with the sound of the drums.

i've only heard the first 7tracks so far, and on first listening to those, track 4: Use Somebody, was the only one that I didn't like. I've never heard any of their past material before, but I'm liking what I'm hear thus far. Closer and Crawl are epic. Sex on Fire is pop... not a huge fan of it

Your review is rather good, but I tend to disagree with the level of your harshness towards the band prior to their two most-recent albums. Nonetheless, your general direction, I agree.

And now I would just like to comment on the album. SENSATIONAL.

I've liked what I've heard off this. Never really took notice of these guys until now.

This is really growing on me. At first, I was borderline 3-3.5 on this, now it's at a pretty solid 4.

Finally, a well-thought out review from someone who actually listened to the album! (Although I take issue with the implicit remark that they sucked before Because of the Times.)

Love it. Best tracks are Closer, Sex on Fire, Use Somebody and Revelry. At first I really disliked 17 and I Want You..but they're growing on me.

Goddamn pitchfork's review is so offbase for this. No way is this 2 material. 3.5-4 to me at the moment depending on how the second half develops.
