The movie quotes in Hate and Heartache are from Network (1976). Such a weirdly appropriate passage for this moment:
We know things are bad - worse than bad. They're crazy.
It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go out anymore.

Okay now you’re definitely in my head, thought the same. Was a touch surreal hearing it in this moment tbh. Although musically I always associate that sample with Maybeshewill (because I heard their implementation of it first, so my brain gets all confused for a minute).
