yeah i just looked on discogs, there are a handful of OG filosofem presses sitting around 500 USD.
there are also some sneaky back on black presses (which shouldn't be valuated at much more than 20 USD) sitting above 100 USD. silly cunts
"I get why considering the rarity but still...." yeah the exclusivity of these early pressings creates an intrinsic value BUT there's also a second reality: the only other wax presses (from back on black) sound like absolute shit. i have for example hvis lyset original & BoB on wax and the BoB is just miserable. the digital:analog argument is a long painful conversation but given the sad treatment of burzum releases, you know, it's particularly relevant, and being able to listen to hvis lyset on an early press unmolested by shit treatment is glorious. and if i ever have kids, you know, talk about a fuckin' family heirloom
