I have to say I like this band/record less after seeing them.
The music is amazing but the lyrics are seriously so incredibly pathetic. I thought seeing them live would make me overlook them but it really just did the complete opposite. How can you possibly take seriously a whole room of kids screaming "fuck the government with your fist"?
This album appeals to me much more than Shipwreck's album, but Shipwreck seemed so much better to me live (they played the same show). They were a lot tighter, which makes a difference in a big venue and the singer was a nice dude afterwards. Ceremony dudes all seemed too angry to talk to.

Yeah, they were amazing when I saw them down here. The venue was a good size and the kids were completely into it and going off. The wooden stage ended up breaking from the weight of the pile-ons, it was intense. I'm seeing them again in a couple weeks with Have Heart, Blacklisted, and Swamp Thing, should be fun.

Album does fucking rule. "Dead Moon California" and "He - God - Has Favored Our Undertakings" are absolutely perfect hardcore tracks. Seeing this band on the 25th with Have Heart, Blacklisted, and Let Down, but this band's what I'm really looking forward to.
