Don't get me wrong you've gotten way better, you're getting the pieces there I think you just have to loosen up a little.

Thanks Coke. I'll try to do it different next time. I just dont know what other style to write it in.

It's not necessarily style, you just have to sort of loosen up when you write, make it less abrupt and impersonal. I mean it's about balance, it's hard to find. You've gotten hold on the content portion you just have to try and find a 'voice' now, if that makes any sense.

Yeah that makes sense. Hopefully I can use your advice on my next review.

This album actually gets worse every time I listen to it. I think I might have given it a little too much praise in the review, even though I only gave it a 3.This Message Edited On 07.30.08

Time to let albums sink in a bit, don't you think?

I've had this for a while though and I used to really like it when I first got it. I listened before I reviewed it too, but I guess I'm getting bored with it.

These guys are not the best at industrial black. Get The Work Which Transforms God from Blut Aus Nord andVioLution from V:28 and i'll think you'll change your opinion rapidly. This Message Edited On 07.31.08

Shit I completely forgot about V:28. You're right they are way better. I'll have to add that to my review. Thanks for pointing that out Balls.

Are you talking about V:28 or Dodheimsgard?

Dodsheimsgard. Although Kronet Til Kronge is closer to raw black metal and not so much industrial. I believe Fenriz played on that album.

I've never heard that. I only have this and Monumental Possession. MP is pretty bad. If the first one is good I might check it out.

Well in terms of Norwegian black metal and some of the more well known black metal bands, Dodheimsgard really isn't that great.

I loved this album. What is with all the hate surrounding it? Review was well written. Love your tastes in music.

This album is amazing but I don't expect most black metallers to get into it. It blends 'avant' elements with more commercial aspects perfectly but you have to be willing to go along for the ride. Can't for their new one, supposedly coming out on Peaceville this year.

Don't hear much 'industrial' on this one btw
