I saw Thursday and Fall of Troy play together in a dive bar just those two bands. It's the greatest and most unlikely thing to happen I thought at the time.

I don't think anyone's really attempted emulate his vocal style. But the boyish youthfull vocals can be found in a lot of modern day post hardcore circa survive and dance gavin dance to name a couple. And a lot of mid 2000s trash emo bands

Maybe it's just me but sometimes that guy from Hawthorne heights sounds like he's trying to capture geoff's style

they dont share a lot in common with circa survive. idk if you've heard it but the first from first to last record is an excellent example of commercialized post hardcore done right. it's pretty similar to the alexisonfire debut too imo.

Yeah I dig some From First To Last, Sonny was a pretty good vocalist.
Shame he decided to ruin dubstep as Skrillex though...

Sonny's doing his thing. he makes fun music for fests and stadiums. And I think he's aware of that

I dig a couple of his tunes but I find his dubstep to sounds like Mickey Mouse on amphetamine.

Sonny is a good vocalist,so hopefully that will be the case. I like the debut album and Heroine is bearable but aside from that, not a massive fan.
