No cap. They run the show thanks to lobbyists.

I think a lot of blame lies in the Supreme Court for letting stuff like Citizens United pass giving corps the power to lobby like they do. It doesn't even feel like we have a govt at the end of the day if corps have access to the people that are supposed to represent us and can affect their lives in ways we can't possibly hope to. The disfunction of government influences people's disillusion with their government which leads to them getting apathetic and not voting too. Whether it's just a symptom or a directed effort I can't say. It all branches out from a rotten core. Just let people live

That sellout book you mentioned is a really good read. Lays out pretty clearly everything behind the scenes and how and why things ended up the way they did. Would recommend

I may bump up to a 4.5, probably my fav Thursday too. I had it at a 5 way back when, and listening again now it's just so massive and lyric heavy. Surprised I still remember almost all of them.

Also damn, didn't realize Everding isn't in the band for this reunion =[ glad I caught one show with him

this will never be my fav Thursday but I’ve been listening to it on repeat the last few days and it’s growing on me. In particular Steps Ascending and the closer Tomorrow I’ll Be You are starting to stand out as additional highlights.

that part at the end where he sings “IM CALLING FROM YOUR HOUSE IN YOUR ROOM IN YOUR NAME, LAYING IN YOUR BED, FOLLOWING YOUR DREAMS” sends a tingle up my spine.
