I don't rate this as high as a few other fans but a 2.8? Far too low. This has some interesting composition on it and frankly, I was not disappointed by much of the material on here and found myself enjoying the latter half especially.

Average for this is pathetic you people are sad.

I honestly like this album more than Gothic (which doesn't do much outside of a few tracks), it does a better job at sounding evil and sinister, and death metal-wise it slaps harder. Breeding Fear also has already a glimpse of the operatic female vocals for that "beauty and the beast" thing. [666]

The vocal layering of the "oh please help me die" bit in Frozen Illusion is unsettling.

Also what’s up with the trend of great death/doom bands putting out one album like that and then going goth

Definitely a great listen. I'd say Gothic has it ever-so-slightly beat though.

The average rating for this is crazy. Just jammed again for the first time in awhile and it rules. Need to dig more into their discography. I think this is the only one I've heard in full

You tell me this is some random 2020 death metal band and I would have totally bought it.
It's not that bad [93789] but there are some truly awful moments too haha
