This album has a lower rating because its too Emocore/Punk for the typical MCR fan. Lots of the guitarwork on this is blatantly Ink and Dagger, Rites of Spring, Thursday, and Swiz. Theres only a few instances of the Pop elements that would show up much more on their later albums.

this edges out Three Cheers for me ever so slightly. It's Not a Fashion Statement and I Never Told You What I Do For A Living are arguably just as good as Demolition Lovers.
I've NEVER been able to super get into Give Em Hell Kid or To The End though and I think that's what gives this the edge. Still good tracks but I never got attached to them.
