Such a good album.
Somewhat a shame that nothing quite reaches the dizzying heights of the first 2 tracks.

There are some really soul crushing moments, like from 2:40 on in My Hope, The Destroyer, can never do anything against the tears. The intro / outro in the first track too of course.
And the whole A Cruel Taste Of Winter is drenched in melancholy, it's one of the things I love about doom metal. All 8 songs are very well written, with many nice twists.
I'm thankful I discovered this album, and other bands like Hanging Garden, The Foreshadowing, Ahab and Promethean Misery (no one except me knows her on this site, yes it's only one person in the band, and it also has some nice dark wave-ish feelings)
