Just lack of inspiration, they are a burnt out band that just doesn't know when to quit.

Like it or not, it was interesting and every band needs to experiment. Keeps it fresh. And you never know they might come back and make a awesome album, learning from the mistakes of previous one.

This album is pure greatness, you just have to let it grow inside you, then you'll simply have the choice of loving it.

This album is good for the progressive side of judas priest perhaps it needed a little more of that classic crunch from british steel or painkiller.Overall it's quite interesting to hear a band like priest doing conceptual stuff after all the who, styx and even kiss did it once good or bad.

2 years later and Judas Priest does decide to call it quits, with farewell concerts. Good call.

This album has a few great songs on it. I like the solos on "Revelations" a lot.

I could get why people would give this a 2.5-3.5 but I don't get why there are so many 1s.

There are some good songs in this album.

Ok... I wrote my last comment before finish listening the whole album.

Damn it is too long!! If they created a shorter album with the best songs of this album, it would be a good album IMO

Well not Priest best work for sure but still has really good songs.

Hard to get in but it deserves the effort.

...And tonight I will see the metal legends probably for the last time

you guys are retarded. I thought this was a great album. Not the best Ive heard from priest but it was very well-recorded and I enjoyed the progressions and themes to the songs. And if you never liked priest in the first place than no shit your not gonna like this album.

This review is completely laughable. Sorry Mr. Staff man, but you shouldn't be reviewing records when your opinion is completely biased and not looking at the album as a whole.

This is NOT an album you can simply throw on and immediately rock out to. It has to be experienced as a whole. It tells a story. I will say however that if you took out the interludes, slower songs and put the heavier ones on a single disc, this album would rock your face off.

This is Priest's most ambitious and creative work to date. They set out to craft an album that is unlike anything they made in the past and to be honest, I prefer stuff like this over much of their discography. This album shows that a band who has been around for over 3 decades can come up with something truly original and it absolutely succeeds on every front.

Fans are so stuck on a band being the same way throughout their entire career. They get scared if an artist decides to do something else because it's not what THEY wanted from the band. That's what artists do, they evolve and explore new territory. If you can't see that as a reviewer, then please find a different hobby.
