Different from the previous album, but it really grows on you, even if you expected it to sound like ''pitch black progress'' as I did. Now it's one of the albums I listen to almost on a daily basis, along with watershed and fortress.

This is my first Scar Symmetry album...never thought I'd like Death metal...but once I saw it combined with the words "melodic", I kinda couldn't turn away...After having listened through it once...pretty damn good.

This can barely be considered melo death from what ive heard of it though.
Didnt really like what i heard. Clean singing sounded way overprduced and not that great

I would indeed consider this to be Melo Death, and a great album at that. I very much enjoy the transitions with the vocals, and the instrumental work is marvelous. Scar Symmetry is simply a talented band, and they keep writing impressive material.
