So? People are wrong, but you're not always right.
I dunno, maybe you're both always like this so I will just get used to you like I got used to that annoying buzz in my car. This Message Edited On 07.27.08

Always like what? Right? It's not death metal. I'm not insulting it, just stating facts.

Whoa I go on vacation for 3 days and there is an argument here. I agree with Cocaine in it not being very death metal, but I still think the best place to put this band is melodic death. It will probably change though as this band continues to get more mature.

Melodic death metal still implies death metal. But it's a stupid label most often applied to bands that aren't applicable so who cares.

I've heard that Christian Alvestam other band Miseration is better than this, but after listening to their album a couple times it just seems boring. I'm sticking with this.

I mean why do we always feel the need to pinhole and classify everything we listen to? It really doesn't matter.
And on another note it's a kickass metal album.

I'm gonna check this out pretty soon...hopefully it'll be awesome.

I only mentioned the fact they arent death metal because the review and comments make the implication that this is melodic death metal when it's not the case. Granted it's as unfairly tagged as such alongside poppier and more homogenized acts, but regardless, I always try to make people realize that labels, while futile, should at least be used properly if they're going to be used at all. Still, there are obviously death metal influenced parts to be found, they're just few and far between.
This is good, better than their last album and I'm enjoying it more than I should. Only complaint is that it's way, way too fake and artificial sounding. Everything's been tweaked and computerized to the point where it doesn't sound real anymore. I think I might actually write a review for this later. This Message Edited On 07.28.08

^^^I agree with it sounding a bit "overproduced" or something, the sound is like TOO clean for dudes jamming on instruments. The solos are killer though.
|

Yeah there was something about the production that bothered me and I couldn't figure it out but I think that explains it.
|
| |
I think their one of those bands that have good albums, but wouldn't sound that great live.
