Seeing new people getting into this (presumably) off the back of The Loser’s release / hype is wholesome to see.
I’ve been dropping a lot of ratings recently, culling some 5s as part of the process (I might promote some things later), but this remains omnipresent and ain’t going anywhere.

Exactly. It cannot be denied. Unstoppable.
(genuinely thought I’d be dropping it, but nah… now I’m feeling guilty for ever doubting it’s unwavering magnificence)

I revisited The Loser the other day and man it just doesn’t hit like this. Solid comeback album and all, but this remains an incredible standout

Sadly true, but I'm still glad they came back and made some decent new tunes all the same

SRO is such a stellar song. 10/10 that one for my taste

^ just learned Ballou plays the sax part on that song, kinda neat
Moon was one of the most important records i’ve heard in my life, and, to me, expecting their recent output to rival such a tour de force of a cult record after 15+ years of inactivity is too high a bar. TL and MVDM are superb records, significantly above scene standards, and I can fully appreciate them for that

Well I can see I am very late to the hype train here - the drumming is absolutely wild!
