I'd say the vocals definitely sounded Maynardish in their first album, but since then they've moved away from that. I'm not sure how much of that is a conscious effort to separate from Tool *shrug*

This is pretty cool, neat find. I dunno if I'd say not as pretencious as the likes of Dredg and Tool, but to each his own. Big fan of this band's influences, so this one pans out pretty well.
