I might check 'em out. I've heard of them, but haven't HEARD them. Give me a good description and I might listen to them...

Well they started in 1984 in Germany and are still bloody going, their sound has changed a lot over the years but everything since 2000 has been pretty terrible. They have a very cheesy (and sometimes self-referential) style, like big chugging metal riffs and diva backing vocals and heavy dance beats... I for one adore it, it still feels very dirty and industrial like NIN but with a much more colourful sonic palette.

Their best work was in the 90s as I said, their three best albums being Naive (1990), Nihil (1995) and Symbols (1997). Here's some examples of songs...

lol listening to naive right now. Man the singing, it just feels so wierd overtop of the instrumentals. It's alright, I'll have to check out the rest later.

Yeah it is a weirdass combination, these industrial grooves with pop vocals over the top haha. Takes a little while to click but the payoff is huge, they have a massive discography littered with absolute gems

Happiness in Slavery is actually my favorite song off the album, I wish you liked it
The stuttering bass, the screams, the ascending guitar line (killer)...
I like it a whole lot more than Wish, actually

"Happiness in Slavery - 3/5

One of the worst songs on the album. The song starts out lacking any form of melody whatsoever, leaving you to focus on the screamed line of "Slave screams". Once the song finally mellows a bit to give some sort of verse with melody, Trent Reznor launches a campaing promoting his sick little sado-masochistic world. Not the greatest song, but it's bearable"

The bleeps at the beginning of Suck remind me of the menu sound effects from GTA: San Andreas
