Oh yeah Speedway is craaaazy, anxiety inducing in a good way (?).
Album is one big high.

I can't even describe how this album makes me feel. It makes me dissociate in the best possible way. I hate No Good but it's still a 5

Yeah same. It has that totally immersive, takes-you-on-a-journey-as-soon-as-you-hit-play kind of feeling. It always had that effect on me, and I don't think that'll go away. It's a true classic.
[-1] on the No Good hate though.

No Good is more annoying than anything, it grates on me. Do you have any recommends that sort of capture the feeling of this album? Or something close

Ooooh, that's difficult!
Orbital - 2/The Brown Album/Orbital is super ultra good and has this same transportational quality to it, but the tone is different (less dark)
Meat Beat Manifesto - 99% is as aggressive as this (or even more so!) and was a strong influence on The Prodigy, but is a little less coherent or exciting than this (in my opinion)
The Orb - Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld is a superb journey but way less aggressive and dark and immediate than this.
Maybe one of these? Don't know if you've heard them already...

Dream Dolphin - The Seventh Dream is a shamanistic redux of this one's aggro side high on propane fumes

Oh and
Underworld - dubnobasswithmyheadman is a SUPER MEGA classic 90s genre bender of an album that has tonnes of transportational power and replay value and its greatness cannot be overstated, yet it's a different beast altogether compared to this.

dubnobass obviously fucks, but I wouldn't put its cool cat detachment and sleaze in the same room as this aside from maybe Cowgirl hmm
Orbital 2 has a similar density at points fs

Yeah I know but I felt it shouldn't be omitted as another 90s stalwart of electronic-meets-rock(?) audience the-kids-love-it-and-it-stood-the-test-of-time kind of records. The list wouldn't be complete without it, and Cowgirl does indeed reach intensity in comparable levels as this one.

Havne't listened to this one too much but I find it pales against fat of the land
|

Album Rating: 4.3
Nah Fat of the Land is great, but goofs out a little too much and doesn't have the internal synergy of this. This one is pure rave fuel and still makes the best end-to-end Prodigy experience even if Fat has more individually iconic songs

it's weird, Fat is superior to this in pretty much every possible way but this one is just hypnotic and on its own planet

Both 5.0s. Yet for very different reasons.

Agreed, one for the ravers and one for the big beaters

Very true. Which is especially nice if you identify with both categories.

No way Fat of the land is better than this album. I mean, it's a great album but, I think they leaned too much on the Punk aesthetic gimmick on it.

They do. It's like they're that red and that yellow/orange field in that Rothko over there ↖

It still is a great album, however, I tend to gravitate towards The Prodigy's first two albums rather than anything from Fat of the Land onwards
