OK UnskathedGuitar: I could understand if you simply dont like A7X, not everyone has the same taste in music. But to say that the band isn't talented is just moronic. LISTEN TO THE ALBUM. And really listen. Hear those drums? Hear that guitar? Listen to Waking The Fallen while you're at it. No guitarist, or musician of any kind for that matter, could listen to these songs and call the band untalented. And i can see how some wouldn't like Shadows' voice. It can be whiney at times, but the things he can do with his voice are incredible. So either you didn't listen to the album, or any albums, and are just randomly flaming a band that doesn't fit your scene...or you have trouble hearing.

"Amazing!!! The first 5 tracks are the best full on heavy metal songs i have ever heard ever!!! and the rest of the album is a bit more experimental, which means some crazy shit going on! WHICH IS ALWAYS GUD!!!

Well I personally think that A7X is used to reinventing their sound with different albums. Now I havent heard much off of their first album but Sounding the Seventh Trumpet was real punk hardcore thrash where as Walking the Fallen was more of a Nu-Metalistic type sound and with their new one it feels to me like they're bring the two together almost. Anyway I like it.

"can't believe people still care about this band"

I don't think anyone will care anymore after everyone realizes that they were in black ops 2

i always forget that selling out is when a band commercialises their music, and that is EXACTLY WHAT THEY DID.

I mean, I disliked them after I got of my teen fanboyism of them (dark days) but seriously, writing songs for a game is horrid

This album is really sweet. heavy, but dont call them metal gods, obviously u dont listen to metal. There are some stunning riffs tho on here and i do like the progression but its still nowhere even close to as good as their old stuff.

ill give it a 4/5 however

hmmmm

I base mine off the music, my own hatred for image is usually reserved for bands like Flailing in Reverse

The flamenco-y section of Sidewinder gets this a 3/5 by itself
